Port Washington Play Troupe's 2014 Golden Era of Radio Celebration continues with "The Thin Man," with songs from the era, broadcasting live from the Hillwood Recital Hall at the Tilles Center at LIU Post on April 25, 2014 at 2pm.
Based on the Dashiell Hammett novel, "The Thin Man" tells the story of witty, would-be retired detective Nick Charles and his socialite wife Nora, who--in between cocktails--team up to solve a murderous missing persons case involving a cavalcade of suspects, all of whom agree to come to dinner.
"The Thin Man" is the second of three plays in this radio drama series (to conclude with "Casablanca" on May 23rd) produced in proud partnership by WCWP 88.1 FM New York, the community public radio station of LIU Post, and Port Washington Play Troupe.
Studio audience tickets for "The Thin Man" can be purchased here: http://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/609450
The performance will also be broadcast on 88.1 FM and stream online at WCWP.org.
