Temple Israel of Great Neck Hosts Free Dinner for College Grads
Orthodox, Conservative, Reform, non-affiliated, Sephardic and Ashkenazi from Nassau, Suffolk and Queens are welcome; pre-registration required.
Temple Israel of Great Neck is hosting a free dinner for for college graduates ages 21-30 on Friday, April 25, from 7:30-11 p.m. New 2013-14 grads are encouraged to attend.
College grad dinners at Temple Israel were started three years ago to create a venue for young adults up to age 30 to gather. The dinners are open to anyone in the community and are not limited to past or present Temple Israel members. Attendees have been from the entire spectrum of the Jewish community – Orthodox, Conservative, Reform, non- affiliated, Sephardic and Ashkenazi– from Nassau, Suffolk and Queens.
“The dinners were created to give young adults who may be living in or near Great Neck a place to meet and socialize, and we encourage attendees to bring friends,” said Chery Moin, member of Temple Israel of Great Neck and organizer of the event.

“We are now in our third year of hosting the college grad dinners, and our numbers are constantly growing,” she added.
