Tickets are on sale for the upcoming Great Neck Arts Center tribute show, "Walking The Line," with Tom Cavanagh playing Johnny Cash.
The March 16 performance will feature a seven-piece band with three women playing Carter family roles. In 2011 the band was awarded "Best Tribute Show" at a tribute festival in Virginia Beach.
Sponsored in part by All Music Inc., Richland Management Co., Starbucks and Westy's Storage, the show covers the entire spectrum of Cash's legendary career including hits I Walk the Line, Ring of Fire, Folsom Prison Blues, Jackson and A Boy Named Sue.
Cavanagh's work ranges from Broadway to touring with rock legend Lita Ford, according to event organizers.
