USMMA Class of 2017 Take Oath

Incoming U.S. Merchant Marine Academy class to be sworn in by Vice Admiral Robin R. Bruan.

The U.S. Merchant Marine Academy will welcome 237 “plebe candidates” of the Class of 2017 Saturday as they take the oath administrated by Rear Admiral Helis during the Academy's Acceptance Day Ceremony.

The plebes will be sworn in at 9:30 a.m. as U.S. Navy Reserve midshipmen by Vice Admiral Robin R. Bruan, chief of Navy Reserve, commander, Navy Reserve Force.
