Rush Hour Delays on LIRR

The 5:50 p.m. train from Penn Station has been cancelled.

Long Island Rail Road commuters looking to get home to Great Neck Thursday will have to wait. 

The MTA is reporting system-wide cancellations and delays due to signal issues on the Queens side of the East River tunnels. 

The 5:50 p.m. train from Penn Station – due in Great Neck at 6:19 p.m. – has been cancelled.

Customers will be accommodated by the 5:56 p.m. train from Penn due Great Neck at 6:31 p.m. with a stop at Woodside.

The LIRR is reporting scattered delays of 20-30 minutes for the evening commute.
