Experts: Great Neck Could See Touch of Snow Tuesday

Don't break out the snowblowers just yet; little accumulation is expected and rain might follow.

Light snow is predicted to come to Great Neck and parts of Long Island early Tuesday morning, according to the National Weather Service (NOAA) and the Weather Channel.

But not much.

The chance of snow will be mixed with rain, and little to no accumulation is expected — less than an inch, according to the experts.

As of Monday afternoon, The Weather Channel is predicting an inch of snow or less early Tuesday morning that will transition to snow showers, possibly mixed with rain, during the afternoon. The high will be 39F.

The rest of the week looks to be mostly precipitation-free and seasonably cold. Please stick with Patch for updates.

Looks like Monday's forecast was accurate. A few flakes, but not much Tuesday.

Isn't this Wendy Kreitzman's husband? Of course, Wendy - the lying editor at the Great NeckRead More Record!!! How cozy of you both - I sent in a letter to Anton Press regarding Wendy's erroneous and biased coverage of Pamela Geller's appearance at the Chabad in Great Neck and never received an answer. I didn't really expect to either. But why would we continue to support establishment candidates when the systems continue to fail, property taxes continue to rise, services continue to decrease, corruption on every level from local to federal exists, and you have a complicit media with your own wife at the helm. I don't think so!
