Great Neck resident Michael T. Lamoretti will be honored as Man of the Year next month at the Celebrate the Arts Gala at Oheka Castle in Huntington.
Lamoretti is the director and vice president of real estate operations for United Capital Corp. of Great Neck. He also serves on the Board of Directors of the Great Neck Arts Center.
Sponsored by the Great Neck Arts Center and the Gold Coast International Film Festival, the Oct. 24 awards fundraiser at Oheka will benefit educational programs at the Arts Center's School for the Arts, according to event organizers.
Also at the gala, Rep. Gary Ackerman, D-N.Y., will recieve the Honorary Founders Award and Long Island author Nelson DeMille will receive the Gold Coast Legend award, according to the GNAC website which
