Has the recent Boston bombings affected your plans to participate in the Long Island Marathon?
Nassau County Executive Ed Mangano and the Nassau County Police Department announced Tuesday enhanced security measures for the Long Island Marathon Weekend, which will take place from May 3-5.
“In light of the tragic events that occurred at the Boston Marathon, we have put forth enhanced security measures for the safety of the Long Island Marathon participants, spectators and all members of our community,” Mangano said.
