Legislator Bosworth Participates in LI Groundwater Symposium

Legislator Judi Bosworth (D-Great Neck) joined her esteemed colleagues in government at the Long Island Groundwater Symposium on May 10, 2013, at Carlyle in Bethpage.  The panel's topic was “Where have we been, where are we going?”  The legislators discussed proposed legislation and the oversight that will be required going forward if we are to preserve and protect Long Island's aquifer.  Her colleagues on the panel were (L-R) NYS Assemblyman Robert Sweeney, NYS Senator Jack Martins and Suffolk County Legislator Kara Hahn.  The panel was moderated by John Pavacic, Executive Director at NYS Central Pine Barrens Commission.
