Learn How to Make a Lasting Impression at FMC's Women's Empowerment Summit

"Strong First Impressions: How to Stand Out and Move Up" is one of six workshops offered at FMC Women's Empowerment Summit on May 16. The event, which runs from 7.30 a.m. to 12 noon at Briarcliffe College, Bethpage, N.Y., is designed for women in all facets of their careers, from those fresh out of college to the highly experienced worker in need of inspiration. Highlighting this year's event is a  breakfast keynote by one of Long Island's most successful and well known women, Bernadette Castro, Castro Convertibles COO and former New York State Commissioner of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation.

From how you dress to the way you speak, the Strong First Impressions workshop will cover the fundamentals of initial encounters, to establishing yourself in the workplace. Moderating the discussion will be Life is Sweet TV Executive Producer Stacy Sweet. Panelists include Suffolk County Treasurer Hon. Angie Carpenter, Wisselman, Harounian and Associates Partner Jacqueline Harounian, Esq., Michelle Kerrigan Inc. Consulting's Michelle Kerrigan, Nassau Community College and Mildred Elley College Adjunct Professor and Newspaper Columnist Gail Lewis, Wellness Activist and Coach, DM Enterprises LLC Founder, and Nassau County Wellness Ambassador Donna Martini,and Linda Tagliaferro, Freelance Writer and Author.
