Mill Neck Man Arrested in GN Estates For Burglary, Robbery

A Mill Neck man was arrested in Great Neck Estates Tuesday after breaking into multiple cars and scuffling with a victim inside a garage, according to Nassau County police.

Police say between 4:30 a.m. and 5:20 a.m., Yannick Reboh, 18, broke into four vehicles parked in separate driveways on Ascot Ridge Road— including a Mercedes Benz, a 2004 Audi, a 2002 BMW and a Chrysler minivan.

A GPS unit, credit card, assorted change and a Red Bull energy drink was removed from the vehicles by Reboh, according to police.

Just after 5:20 a.m., Reboh entered a garage and removed two bottles of alcohol but was confronted one of the victims, according to police, who said a struggle ensued and the victim was able to grab a gym bag Reboh was carrying.

Police say Reboh then fled the scene and returned a short time later trying to retrieve the gym bag which contained proceeds from the crimes. He was unsuccessful and fled on foot.

Reboh, of 5 Frost Mill Rd., was located by Great Neck Estates officers on Amherst Road and arrested without incident. 

The defendant was charged with first degree robbery, second degree burglary, fourth degree grand larceny, two counts of third degree criminal mischief andpetit larceny.

Reboh will be arraigned at First District Court in Hempstead on Wednesday.
