Man Arrested in Great Neck for Grand Larceny

Police say a man working for a plumbing company took cash and jewelry from a Great Neck home.

An Ozone Park man is facing grand larceny charges for after police say he removed a jewelry and cash from a Great Neck home in which he was working.

Nassau police say Raymond Gonzalez, 35, of 97th Street in Ozone Park, while employed by Thomas Curly Plumbing Company, was working on a Ridge Drive East home and removed from the master bedroom a jewelry box containing an undisclosed amount of jewelry and cash. An investigation revealed that on Monday, Jan. 6, Gonzalez was working at the home at about 1 p.m.

Gonzalez was placed under arrest at his job, 67 Steamboat Road in Great Neck on Friday, Jan. 10, at 2:15 p.m.

Gonzalez was charged with grand larceny in the third degree and was scheduled for arraignment on Saturday, Jan. 11, at First District Court in Hempstead.
