Police: Duo Robbed Man at Gunpoint on Clair Street

Nassau Police are investigating an armed robbery that was reported late Monday night.

According to detectives, while walking eastbound on Clair Street in the vicinity of Tobin Avenue, a 22-year-old male victim was approached by two male blacks wearing masks. One was reportedly armed with a black handgun.

After allegedly pointing the gun at the victim’s neck, the subject took a bag from the victim that contained clothing and his wallet. The second subject, who was wearing a black baseball hat, then reportedly took the victim’s cell phone from his hand. After telling the victim to continue walking, the subjects fled westbound on Clair Street. 

The victim was unable to further describe the subjects.
