The is still accepting applications for 19 units dubbed "affordable (workforce) housing" within a new luxury development.
Applications for a rent regulated spot in the 255 Great Neck Road building, called the "Maestro," were first handed out on July 30. At that time, the Village had said the development company, Lalezarian properties, would be accepting applications for the units, though the Village is dispensing them. But according to a new announcement by the Village, applications are to be returned to Village Hall by Oct. 1.
Patch themselves are one class of workers that will be given priority within eligibility rankings. Once deemed eligible, the Village says a lottery of perspective residents will be done.
