First Trains From Great Neck Thursday

There will be limited hourly service, service east of Great Neck is suspended.

The Long Island Rail Road has announced that limited hourly service between Great Neck and Penn Station starts Thursday.

A 5:45 a.m. train from Great Neck to Penn will be the first westbound train and the 5:14 a.m. train from Penn to Great Neck will be the first eastbound train.  

Service east of Great Neck remains suspended. Due to the expected high volume of customers traveling, LIRR advises customers  to stagger their departure times throughout the day to help ease overcrowding.
