The public is invited to attend a Shabat With Congressman Steve Israel at the Lake Success Jewish Center Feb. 22.
In March, Israel, D-Huntington, was appointed to the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Council, serving with seven other members of Congress. The congressman serves as Chairman of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee.
The Third District represenative will speak following a service which begins at 7:30 p.m.
Additionally, on Feb. 23, a dinner for Hebrew School age families and friends or visitors with children will begin at 5:45 p.m. The general community is invited to a pizza at 6:30 p.m. The Megillah reading begins at 7 p.m.
