Great Neck North high schoolers got into the latest Internet craze this month with their rendition of the Harlem Shake.
The Harlem Shake Internet meme first went viral after being posted by a YouTuber named Filthy Frank on Jan. 30.
As of Feb. 11, nearly 12,000 Harlem Shake videos had been posted from celebrities and other individuals, according to YouTube-trends.com. The videos have been watched more than 44 million times.
