The Great Neck school district has announced early dismissals for secondary schools Friday, according to their website.
Elementary schools will dismiss at the normal 3:20 p.m. time, according to the school district.
All after-school and evening activities are cancelled Friday.

The following early outs have been posted:
- High schools: 1:45 p.m.
- Middle schools: 2:15 p.m.
Schools will remain closed on Saturday until 6 p.m., but the schedule could change based on weather and road conditions.

Pre-kindergarten evening sessions and Fun For Fours evening sessions are canceled for Friday.
SCOPE will contact parents whose children participate in this after-school program, according to the school district.
Postponed:
- Friday's North High School performance of "Urinetown The Musical" has been rescheduled for Sunday, Feb. 10, at 7:30 p.m. All Friday tickets will be honored at the Sunday performance.
- Friday's South High School performance of "12 Angry Men & 12 Angry Women" has been rescheduled for Sunday, Feb. 10, at 2 p.m. All Friday tickets will be honored Sunday.
