Manhasset Teenager Wins Award

Juliana Baydar recognized for strong commitment to the community and tireless efforts assisting others.

Manhasset Teenager Receives Award Manhasset High School freshman Juliana Baydar was recently honored as a 2013 recipient of the prestigious Good Deed Award for Long Island Teenagers.

The award is presented each year by the National Committee for the Furtherance of Jewish Education (NCFJE) to outstanding Long Island teenagers who have exhibited extraordinary achievements, excellence and effectiveness as positive role models. 

Juliana was recognized for her strong commitment to the community and tireless efforts assisting others through a variety of charitable activities Rabbi Anchelle Perl, Director of the National Committee for the Furtherance of Jewish Education began the Good Deed Awards many years ago as a way to recognize young people who make positive contributions to their communities. 

The awards are presented by local elected officials and community leaders at the organizations’s annual VIP ceremony at the Chabad of Mineola.
