Peter Luger Steak House has been in business for more than 120 years. It is known as one of the best, if not the best, steak house in the country. It has won the best steak house in New York award from Zagat's for more than 25 years in a row and has also received numerous rave reviews from too many people and publications to list. Be aware that Peter Luger's does not accept credit cards except for its own Peter Luger credit card. It does accept personal checks with proper ID.
